ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

The 2022 ACC Airfield Pavement Design, Evaluation and Analysis Workshop takes place September 13-15 in Minneapolis, MN.

The ACC Airfield Pavement Design, Evaluation and Analysis Workshop provides participants with a three-day comprehensive and hands-on technical training program that focuses on: Airfield Pavement Design and Pavement Types; Subgrade Soils and Granular Materials; Aircraft Traffic; FAARFIELD Overview; Flexible Pavement Design; Rigid Pavement Design; Rigid Pavement Design Details; Shoulder Pavement Design; Pavement Evaluation and Overlay Considerations; Overlay Design; FAA Update on Advisory Circulars and Pavement-Related Efforts; ACR-PCR Background and Concepts; and PCR Approach for Rigid and Flexible Pavement.

Attendees will further enhance their learning throughout the workshop with interactive small group case study problem solving exercises, roundtable discussions, and networking with industry colleagues.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
At the conclusion of this ACC workshop, participants will be able to:
• Explain the methodology behind rigid and flexible pavement design and evaluation.
• Apply subgrade, materials, and aircraft characteristic inputs to complete pavement designs and analyses using FAARFIELD v2.0.
• Calculate PCR values for rigid and flexible pavements using FAARFIELD v2.0.
• Describe the different types of asphalt and concrete overlay designs.
• Use characteristics of existing pavements and FAARFIELD v2.0 to develop rehabilitation designs of rigid and flexible pavements.

WORKSHOP AGENDA

To earn PDH credits for attending, participants are required to attend all workshop sessions from 8:15 a.m. CDT on Tuesday, September 13th through 12:30 p.m. CDT on Thursday, September 15th.

ACC WORKSHOP COVID POLICY AND DUTY OF CARE: REVIEW BEFORE REGISTERING

PRIOR TO REGISTERING, please review the workshop ACC COVID Policy and Duty of Care and plan to abide by, and adhere to, the ACC Duty of Care and COVID Policy for this workshop. Please note that there will be no exception to the policy and anyone who does not submit a negative COVID test result taken between Saturday, September 10th and Monday, September 12th will not receive a badge or be able to attend workshop sessions or events. Please review the above link as to acceptable COVID testing. ACC will send you a link to Attend Safe two weeks prior to the workshop for you to upload your negative COVID test results. REGISTRATION FEES, CANCELLATIONS, REFUNDS, AND SUBSTITUTIONS

REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS SEPTEMBER 7

Registration for the September 13-15 2022 ACC Airfield Pavement Design, Evaluation, and Analysis Workshop is limited to 50 participants. Registration fees must be paid to confirm your registration. Registration includes all workshop sessions, PowerPoint presentations, group problem solving activities, breakfast and lunch buffets, and networking reception.

REGISTRATION FEES (Registration closes on September 7 - or earlier if 50 participants have registered)

• $895 – ACC members, airports, military, and local/state/federal government agencies
• $995 – Non-members

ATTENTION: Please register by logging in to your ACC Training Hub User account or creating a user account.

Individuals registering others must first verify that the registrant has an existing user account, and if not, create a user account for them . If you attempt to register others at checkout and the registrant's work email you enter comes back as "User Not Found," their registration will not be completed just by adding first name, last name, and organization. Please contact training@acconline.org with any questions prior to registration.  

CONFIRMATION OF REGISTRATION

Upon registering, confirmation will be sent by e-mail to fully paid workshop attendees using their work email provided when registering. If you do not receive confirmation within 24 hours after submitting your registration, please email training@acconline,org. Non-receipt of a confirmation email before the workshop is not justification for seeking a refund.

REGISTRATION CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
 
Cancellations must be submitted in writing to training@acconline.org by Friday, September 2, 2022. Cancellations received by September 2, 2022 are eligible to receive a refund, less a $200 processing fee. Refunds will be credited back to the original credit card used for payment. This policy applies to all registrations. Refunds will be processed after the workshop concludes.

There are NO refunds for cancellation requests received after the cancellation deadline of Friday, September 2, 2022. At this date, we are unable to issue a refund for ANY reason as we will have guaranteed your participation with our vendors and event partners and we are unable to provide a refund of your registration fees or credit for future use.

No-shows are not eligible for refunds or credit for future use.

SUBSTITUTIONS
 
Substitutions will be honored at any time before Wednesday, September 7, 2022. Requests for substitution of your registration spot and fee paid must be received in writing at training@acconline.org by Wednesday, September 7, 2022. Please note that a substitution of registration does not include refunds to the individual cancelling or ACC accepting a new payment from another. The individual you are transferring your registration spot and fee to must have an ACC Training Hub user account to complete the transfer, and will be required to adhere to the workshop Duty of Care and COVID policy. Please note that ACC will not handle hotel room transfers.
