TRAINING FAQS

Why was there an error when registering for the training? For registration and participation in all ACC virtual training, you should use either Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge. ACC also recommends viewing from a normal desktop, not a VPN or Remote Desktop System. Also, at checkout, you will find questions on your professional designation(s) and what you would most like to learn during the training.

I have a discount code. Where should I enter my code to receive the training discount? When checking out for the training, you will find a field for discount code. Please add your code to that field to receive the discount.

Is my registration for the training "per person” or “per organization?” The registration fee for ACC virtual training programs is “per person.” The registration fee includes access to the  training by the paid registrant, copies of the PowerPoint slides and handouts, and receipt of any designated accreditation credits/hours.

Can I share my training log-in with others interested in participating or earning credits/hours? No. The registration fee is “per person.” The sharing of your log-in credentials to provide access to the training by non-registered individuals is strictly prohibited. Doing so will nullify the issuance of your credits/hours for attending, as ACC cannot meet the required accreditation PDH, CM, or LU/HSW credits/hours criteria to verify your attendance – or your participation for the entire duration of the training – with multiple log-ins under your name.

Can I register others for the training program? All registrants and/or those registering them must first had an ACC Training Hub user account. Registrants can not be added at checkout unless the individual already has an email as a user. Individuals added at checkout without an existing email as a user will not be able to access the training as they don't have a user account password to attend.

How do I log-in to the training on the day of the event? Log-in to your ACC Training Hub account and click on “Dashboard” on the menu bar. Your registration for the ACC webinar will appear. After reading and agreeing to the Webinar Sharing Acknowledgement, you can click on “Upcoming Live Event” underneath the title of the webinar and gain access to the ACC webinar.

What time should I log into the webinar? You should sign in 15 minutes prior to the start of the webinar to test your audio and Internet connectivity.

Which web browser should I use to view ACC virtual training? For all ACC virtual training, you should use either Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge. ACC also recommends viewing from a normal desktop, not a VPN or Remote Desktop System.

Where can I find the handouts and PowerPoint slides for the webinar? You will find a “Links” window once you log-in to the webinar platform for access/download of the PowerPoint presentation and any associated training materials or handouts. Additionally, a “Handouts” tab is included with the webinar product in your ACC Training Hub Dashboard at the end of the webinar until 5:00 p.m. EST on the Monday after the conclusion of the webinar.

Where do I find the webinar evaluation survey? At the end of the webinar, you are going to return to the webinar product in your "Dashboard,” in the ACC Training Hub. There you will find the evaluation survey for completion. Surveys must be completed and submitted by 5:00 p.m. EST on the Monday after the conclusion of the webinar.

Are there discounts for registering multiple participants for ACC webinars? Yes. Your organization can up to 75% by purchasing an ACC Corporate Seat Bundle of 25 or 50, or unlimited for any combination of upcoming ACC live or on-demand webinars.

If you should have any questions or need further information, please do not hesitate to contact us at training@acconline.org.

WEBINAR AUDIO AND INTERNET BROWSER AND FIREWALLS

Is there a preferred web browser for viewing ACC webinars? Attendees must use the Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Microsoft Edge web browser when participating in ACC webinars. For optimal viewing, please view off a VPN or Remote Desktop System.

Is there a phone number I need to call to participate in ACC webinars? No. The audio for the webinar will stream through your computer speakers, so please make sure you have the volume turned up on your laptop/desktop. During the 15 minutes before the webinar starts, music will be streaming – which is a good way to test your ability to hear the audio.

WEBINAR ACCREDITATION

How do I know what professional credits/hours are offered for each webinar? There is a "Accreditation Credits/Hours" tab included within the webinar registration product. All the details on credits/hours offered, and participant responsibilities to earn credits/hours, are provided.

When will my credits be reported? It may take ACC up to 30 days from the end of the webinar to report your credits. If you are seeking APA/AICP CM credits, you will complete the required surveys and self-report to APA using the course number provided in the webinar description.
