ATW MOST FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Thank you for your interest in the ACC 2021 ACC Virtual Airports Technical Workshop (ATW). We're looking forward to your participation. For your convenience, below please find answers to some of the most frequently asked 2021 ATW questions. If you don't find the information you need, please feel free to contact us at training@acconline.org and a member of the education team will quickly respond to assist you.

What time zone will be used for the ATW sessions?
Session times will be EDT.

Will I need to register to participate?
Yes, you will need to register to participate in the 2021 ATW. 

Can I save if registering early?
Yes. Register by 8:00 p.m. EDT on Friday, July 2nd and save $50.

What is the final registration deadline?
The deadline to register is 8:00 p.m. on Monday, November 2nd. Registrations cannot be accepted after the registration deadline.

Do I need to be an ACC member to attend?
Not at all. Registration is open to ACC members; the military; academia; employees of airlines/airports; local/state/federal government agencies; and non-members. 

Can I register others for the ATW?
No, each individual will need to register themselves, first logging in to their ACC Training Hub user account. If they don’t have a user account, they can first create one and then register.

Are there discounts if I can only attend one day?
The registration fee is for the two-day duration of the workshop and partial registrations are not available.

When will I receive the instructions for participating during the virtual workshop? 
Upon registering, ACC will immediately send an automated registration confirmation email with the necessary instructions to successfully participate. Check your spam/junk email in-box in the event your confirmation is re-directed due to your organizational firewalls. Make sure that the email address associated with your Training Hub user account is accurate and up to date so that there is no delay in receiving our email communications.

Where can I find my payment receipt? 
Your payment receipt will be located at the bottom of your confirmation email.

Will I be able to message and communicate with other attendees during the ATW?
Yes. By taking a few minutes to update your user profile before the AYW begins, you can add a profile photo and also establish message settings allowing you to message back and forth with other attendees throughout the workshop.

Can I share my workshop log-in with others?
ATW registration is per person, and only one device (computer, laptop, tablet, phone) for the paid registrant will be allowed to enter the virtual ATW. Accreditation credits/hours earned, the questions asked, and the polling conducted within that single log-in are all tied to the account of the registered individual.

What tech requirements do I need to participate in the virtual ATW?
To register for – and participate in – the workshop, you will need to use Google Chrome as your Internet web browser. Typically, Internet Explorer is unstable for the most up-to-date content. Presentations will be using Zoom webinars and meetings. 

Is there a phone number I need to call to participate?
No. The audio for the workshop will stream through your computer speakers, so please make sure you have the volume turned up on your laptop/desktop. 

What time can I log into each session? 
The moderator for each session will open the Zoom session for attendees 5 minutes to the start time.

Will sessions be live or pre-recorded?
All sessions will be live, providing opportunities for participants to ask questions of the program speakers via the Zoom chat. ACC will not be recording any of the sessions from the 2021 ATW.

Can I record any of the sessions/distribute materials from the ATW?
The 2021 ATW materials, sessions, and live presentations are protected by U.S. copyright laws. No individual or entity may electronically record or broadcast any portion of the 2021 ATW. Unauthorized recording (audio, video, still photography, etc.) of presentations during the sessions, workshops or discussions is strictly prohibited. In addition, the unauthorized reproduction, distribution or sharing of ACC 2021 ATW copyrighted electronic and/or material is also strictly prohibited. Thank you for your cooperation.

Will I be able to see the presenters for each session? 
Yes. You will be able to see all educational session speakers along with any provided PowerPoint presentations.

Can I ask questions during the educational sessions? 
We encourage you to ask questions at any time using the Zoom chat or question/answer box. Questions are then displayed to the session presenters for response during the live session or afterwards during the Q&A.

Where can I get a copy of the presentations from the sessions?
Copies of PowerPoint presentations and other materials – if provided by presenters to ACC – can be found under the “Handouts” tab in the ATW registration product in your Dashboard or will be distributed in the post-ATW email to all registrants.

If I’m unable to attend, can I cancel my registration and receive a refund?
Yes. Cancellations and refund requests for the 2021 ATW must be submitted in writing to training@acconline.org by 5:00 p.m. EDT on Friday, July 23rd. Refunds will be issued after the workshop and are subject to a $75 cancellation/processing fee. Registrants also have the option of transferring their registration (see below) to another individual at no charge.

Am I able to transfer my registration to another individual?
If you are no longer able to attend and want to transfer your registration to another individual: (1) please make sure that the individual you are transferring your registration to has an ACC Training Hub user account; and (2) email in writing your transfer request details to training@acconline.org by 5:00 p.m. EDT on Friday, July 30th. Please note that there may be a price difference in registration if the transfer is to a non-member.

How can I earn credits/hours for the ATW? 
Eligible participants registered for – and attending – the full two-day duration of the ATW can earn 7.5 PDH or CM credits. For more information, visit the Accreditation page. The deadline for completing the required accreditation criteria to earn credits is August 27th, after which a $50 late processing fee applies.
